IVF treatment durations are listed below:

1. Egg Donation (Egg Transfer) Duration

For egg donation (transfer) treatment, the duration that the patients will stay in TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) is 5 nights and 6 days. When patients decide on the treatment, depending on their menstruation date, they start with the medication suggested by their doctor in their hometown/homeland. The medication used is in the form of pills or strips.
After synchronizing the preparation period of the mother-to-be and the appropriate donor, and, upon deciding on the day of procedure, the couple’s treatment process of 5 nights and 6 days in TRNC is organized.

• Day 1: On the first day, usually, the couple is welcomed at the airport and transferred to their hotel so that they can have some rest, and, no other procedure is done.
• Day 2: Depending on the time of the procedure, our patients are picked up from their accommodation and brought to the hospital. At the hospital, the mother-to-be has an ultrasound examination and her medication is adjusted accordingly. Egg donation procedure begins by collecting sperm samples from her partner.
• Day 3 – 4: While our patients relax in the hotel, they wait for the development/growth of the embryos.
• Day 5: Depending on the time of the procedure, our patients are picked up from their hotel and brought to the hospital. After the patient is informed about the development of the embryos, and after the patient has a full bladder, the procedure for transfer is started. By selecting 2-3 healthy embryos in good quality and by transferring those, using ultrasound aid, to the future mother the procedure is completed. The patient rests for about 2 hours after the operation in her private room at the hospital, and then, she is transferred to the hotel.
• Day 6: The couple is transferred to the airport by our staff. We can organize all flight tickets, transfer and accommodation services on demand so that our patients can focus only on their treatment.

2. Sperm Donation Duration

The patient will spend 5 nights and 6 days in TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus). The patient has the ovulation induction (increasing the number of eggs) done according to the dose prescribed by the doctor, in the place of residence. Egg retrieval is done in TRNC. On the same day of egg collection, the eggs and sperm from the bank are fertilized and the procedure is completed upon scheduling embryo transfer for three days later.
Upon completing the pre-treatment procedure, the couple’s 5 nights and 6 days trip to TRNC is planned.

• Day 1: On the first day, usually, the couple is welcomed at the airport and transferred to their hotel so that they can have some rest, and, no other procedure is done. The mother-to-be, however, is informed not to eat or drink anything during the last 6 hours before the procedure since the egg retrieval will be done under anaesthetics.
• Day 2: Depending on the time of the procedure (OPU), our patients are picked up from their accommodation and brought to the hospital. The patient goes through OPU (Ovum/oocyte Pick up) procedure under anaesthetics. Upon the choice of the couple, the bank sperm is decided upon. After this, sperm donation is started as part of the microinjection fertilization process.
• Day 3 – 4: While our patients relax in the hotel, they wait for the development/growth of the embryos.
• Day 5: Depending on the time of the procedure, our patients are picked up from their hotel and brought to the hospital. After the patient is informed about the development of the embryos, and after the patient has a full bladder, the procedure for transfer is started. Time to be spent in TRNC for embryo donation is 2 nights and 3 days. Upon deciding on receiving the treatment, the patient uses medication prescribed by the doctor for fifteen days in her hometown/homeland. The medication used is in the form of pills or strips.

4. Egg Donation

The patient will spend 2-3 days in TRNC for egg donation. The patient has the ovulation induction (increasing the number of eggs) done according to the dose prescribed by the doctor, in the place of residence. Egg retrieval is done in TRNC.
